A Fusion of Innovation and Environmental Chemistry...

An innovative and eco-friendly chemical formula for the efficient extraction of precious metals from ores, concentrates, and tailings.

Hydrometallurgical
Breakthrough

Innovation Mining has developed a unique non-cyanide-based hydrometallurgical formula, known as RZOLV©. The unique formula effectively recovers gold from ores, concentrates, and tailings. It is sustainable, eco-friendly, and offers a low-cost, alternative to the extensive use of cyanide in the gold mining sector.

It is essentially a water-based solution that has been developed to mimic the chemical properties and efficacy of cyanide but with a far less toxic and more environmentally sustainable profile.

Eco-Friendly, Efficient Chemistry

The Company's patent-pending and novel RZOLV formula is a promising alternative to cyanide for gold extraction.

  • Non-toxic to humans and wildlife

  • Reduced environmental impact

  • Similar efficiencies to cyanide

  • Low-cost application

  • Sustainable formula

  • Adaptable to existing infrastructure

  • Reduced public opposition

Its scalability mirrors that of traditional cyanide-based heap leaching, allowing for its application in large-scale operations while plowering risks related to toxicity and environmental contamination.

High Performance Results

Since its initial discovery, the RZOLV formula  has undergone extensive laboratory and bulk-scale testing.  The formula offers competitive  performance compared to the traditional industry standard, cyanide (NaCN).

Thousands of tests conducted on different ores, concentrates, and tailings have consistently shown its competitive efficacy against 1,000 PPM cyanide solutions. Similar to cyanide, it may not be effective on all ores.

Super Materials to Shape the Future

Innovation has partnered exclusively with Element 6, a DeBeers company, to integrate their unique diamond-based E6 DIAMOX Electrochemical Cells into their process. This integration allows for non-chemical oxidation and regeneration of the solution, significantly reducing operational costs and lowering our environmental footprint.

This partnership with Element 6 positions the company at the forefront of innovation in the mining industry, paving the way for more eco-friendly and cost-effective gold recovery methods.

Scalable and Proven  Processes

Heap leaching and vat leaching are well-established, proven, and scalable methods for extracting gold from low-grade ores. These methods are globally proven in diverse conditions and have been successfully used for decades. Here are the key reasons why RZOLV can be incorporated into commercial scale operations:

  • Simplicity and flexibility

  • Lower toxicity and regulatory compliance

  • Highly soluble, water-based chemistry

  • Scalabity mirrors that of cyanide

  • Mimics the chemical properties of cyanide

  • Adaptable to existing infrastructure

Sustainable and Simple Operation

The RZOLV process is very similar to that of conventional cyanide circuits. It mimicks both the chemical properties and the water-based scalability of cyanide. The target gold is dissolved from the raw materials by conventional heap/vat or tank leaching. The gold bearing (pregnant solution) is then passed through industry standard carbon columns to remove or "adsorb" the gold onto the carbon.  Following the carbon adsorption phase, the gold metal is stripped from carbon and refined into a gold bar.

Effective Gold Recovery

Gold is recovered from pregnant (gold bearing) solution by the conventional process of using activated carbon or electrowinning.

Following leaching, the activated carbon is mixed with the pregnant leaching solution. The gold is adsorbed onto the surface of the activated carbon, now considered loaded.

The gold is desorbed from the loaded carbon in a process known as elution which produces a high gold concentration solution from which gold can be electrowon and dore bars produced.
